Purpose of processing

Personal data is processed to manage initial assessment requests, respond to enquiries and, where applicable, execute the contracted professional engagement. If the user opts in, also to send the monthly newsletter.

Legal basis

The legal basis is the consent of the data subject (Article 6.1.a GDPR) and, where applicable, the performance of a professional services contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR). For bar-related obligations, the basis may also be compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6.1.c GDPR).

Retention

Data will be retained for the time necessary to attend the request and execute the engagement, and thereafter for the legal periods applicable to the legal profession and tax obligations.

Data subject rights

The user may exercise the rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, restriction and portability by sending an email to contact@espla.com. The user also has the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
